Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. The shop also uses similar browser storage. They let the site remember your cart, keep checkout working and remember the choices you make.

These are the cookies the Texperts website sets:

• Cart and checkout (essential): woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart and wp_woocommerce_session_… remember what is in your cart and keep your basket up to date. They expire when you close your browser or after up to two days.
• Your cookie choice: tx_cookie_consent remembers whether you chose Accept all or Essential only. It lasts 12 months.
• Staff sign-in: wordpress_logged_in_…, wordpress_sec_… and wp-settings-… are only set when Texperts staff sign in to manage the store. Customers do not receive them unless they sign in to an account.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell information collected through cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will only switch it on after you choose Accept all, and we will update this policy first.

• Google Fonts: pages load their fonts from Google, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
• PayFast: when you pay by card or Instant EFT you are taken to PayFast’s own page, which sets its own cookies under its own policy.
• Google Maps: store directions open on Google’s site, which has its own cookie policy.

Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to change your choice. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The cart and checkout will not work without the essential cookies.
